The challenge for building services engineer is to realize healthy and comfortable building with a minimum load on the environment.
Research topics are: the integrated design of the building and its systems, integration with respect to architectural and functional aspects of buildings; and development of intelligent control systems in for the optimization of health, comfort, and environment.
