The aim of the EIRASS conference is to bring together scholars from various disciplines and countries interested in retailing and consumer services. The conference will give delegates an opportunity to present their completed projects but also to present work in progress.
Papers on any topic relevant to progress in retailing and consumer services (tourism, recreation, banking, aspects of transportation, etc.) are welcome. Topics of special interest include:

· geographical information systems
· distribution channels
· service branding
· policy aspects
· information services
· inventory control
· merchandising, pricing, advertising
· human resource management
· new research methods
We organized previous EIRASS conferences in Banff National Park, Canada; Surfers Paradise, Australia; Telfs, Austria; Scottsdale, USA; Baveno, Italy; Puerto Rico; Sintra, Portugal; Vancouver, Canada; Praque, Czech Republic; Orlando USA; Budapest, Hungary; San Francisco, USA; Zagreb, Croatia; Niagara Falls, Cananda, Istanbul, San Diego, Vienna and Philadelphia. The number of participants varies between 100 and 300, with a typical average around 150.
The conference is normally to be held between mid June and end of August.
