DDSS Master

At Eindhoven University of Technology, you can participate in the Master of Science programme called Design & Decision Support Systems, at the faculty of Architecture, Building, and Planning. The Master programme is accessible to all qualified Bachelor students from areas of architecture, construction, civil engineering, or computer science. Fulfilling this programme gives you the right to use the title of Master of Science in Architecture, Building, and Planning. Having an MSc title through the DDSS programme, you can pursue a professional or academic career in research and/or development of systems for complex design and planning processes.

The DDSS Master programme has a strong basis in the DDSS research programme that is highly appreciated by external scientific experts. The Master programme is developed and organised by the chair of Design Systems and the chair of Urban Planning.

Graduation from DDSS is possible in various ways:

  1. Master track Design and Decision Support Systems (DDSS)
  2. Master track Design and Decision Support Systems (DDSS) in combination with the Master track Architectural Design (Architectonisch Ontwerpen: AO)
  3. Master track Design and Decision Support Systems (DDSS) in combination with the Master track Urban Design and Planning (UDP)
  4. Any Master track with a R&D certificate
  5. A Free Master track

In the Bachelor programme a preferred list of courses for the DDSS track is recommended in preparation for a potential graduation from DDSS:

  1. An Internal Minor recommended for the DDSS track
